Built in Edmonton. Competing for the Top.
Since 2004, Edmonton WAM! has been a fixture in high-performance ringette and a proud representative of Edmonton on the national stage. Competing in the National Ringette League, WAM! has built a legacy defined by championship success, elite athletes, and a commitment to the growth of ringette.
For more than two decades, athletes, coaches, families, alumni, volunteers, and supporters have contributed to the WAM! legacy. Each season brings new faces and new challenges, while the commitment to competing at the highest level remains the same. Our athletes have represented Edmonton, Alberta, and Canada on some of the biggest stages in ringette. We are proud of the role WAM! has played in developing high-level athletes and contributing to the continued growth of the sport.
WAM!'s commitment to ringette extends beyond competition. Through programs like WAM! Boot Camp, WAM! Christmas Camp, and Practice Run by WAM!, our athletes have the opportunity to share their experience, knowledge, and passion with the next generation of ringette players. Whether it's helping players prepare for a new season, developing specific skills, or joining a minor team for a practice, we value the opportunity to get on the ice and connect with young athletes. Many WAM! athletes have also carried their passion for the sport into coaching, with players coaching alongside their NRL careers or continuing into coaching after their playing careers. From player to coach, teammate to mentor, and one generation to the next — WAM!'s impact goes beyond the ice.
WAM! is proud of the history we've built and the people who have helped shape the team over the past two decades. As we continue to compete in the National Ringette League, our goals remain the same: compete at the highest level, develop our athletes, represent Edmonton, and continue building the WAM! legacy.
